Fundraising: To keep individual player cost down, and to help you pay for athletic fees, we as an athletic program need to fundraise to offset some of the costs mentioned above. Currently we will have three fundraisers during the season. One is through a company called Double Good Gourmet Popcorn. This is a 100% online fundraising. your athlete will receive 50% profit from each sale in a form of credit towards their fundraising commitment. Extra money raised will be reimbursed in a form of check for the amount of money paid at registration. Extra money raised above that will be credited for future athletic fees. Our second fundraiser is called a "Cash Square Calendar." This is another opportunity for athletes to earn their fees back. More details to come.
Our last fundraiser will be a 50/50 raffle ($1 each) that all athletes will participate in and all earnings will go towards the SSHA general fund.
If financially all of this seems overwhelming, please note that we encourage sponsorships from local businesses. 100% of your sponsorship money will go toward your child's athletic fees. You can find a sponsorship form HERE. If you have questions about sponsorships, please reach out to Christine Wilson at [email protected] or Greg Wilson at [email protected]. There's even a possibility that your work place may match any donation.
